Atol Aurora is an amphibious Light Sport Aircraft with a Nordic soul. Utility, minimalism, and fun. Swedish hygge meets Finnish sisu. It's a hand-crafted combination of an aircraft that flies beautifully and a luxurious wooden boat. Capable of operating from water, snow, and land, it is designed for absolute freedom.

The original ATOL (Amazing Take-Off and Landing) made its first flight in 1988. The design was revived and modernized by Atol Aviation. After over 1,000 flight hours with previous iterations, the all-new Atol Aurora will fly in spring 2025.
Following a 100-hour test flight program, we work hard to receive EASA certification by the end of 2025. Atol Aviation already holds a production certificate, and orders placed now will be delivered in summer 2026.

Atol Protector is an Atol Aurora tuned for rough use by the military, Coast Guard and authorities. Capable of carrying cameras, FLIR and other surveillance equipment in three host points – two under wings and one in the nose – it can fly either with or without a pilot for 8-hour long flights ranging up to 800 km. With the optional additional fuel tanks and without a pilot, it can stay airborne for 20 hours
Imagine the freedom of taking off from runways, airstrips, sandy beaches, lakes, coastal waters, riverbeds, or snow-covered surfaces. With Atol Aurora, you can take off and land almost anywhere!
